ZOLTAN GYORGYOVICS
DYNAMIC THAI MASSAGE & CRANIO RETREAT
31st JULY - 4th AUGUST 2026
Kisnyalka, Hungary

Dates: 31st July - 4th August 2026
Arrival day: Friday, 31st July until 1pm
Departure day: Tuesday, 4th August after lunch

This Thai Massage retreat is focusing on DYNAMIC THAI MASSAGE combined with techniques from subtle yet deep CRANIO SACRAL THERAPY.
Zoltan will as usual adapt the content of the teachings according to the needs of the group and adjust it individually so everybody can benefit no matter which level or amount of experience in bodywork exists.

We start the day in silent meditation to invite our minds to enter a state of clarity and stillness. We continue with a mindful yoga practice to warm up our bodies and get a solid connection with ourselves before we finally enter the magic dimensions of healing touch.

ABOUT DYNAMIC THAI MASSAGE
Dynamic work in the thai tradition is a very intuitive, almost shamanic way of working. It is a process that needs a lot of sensitivity and intuition, as the therapist slowly tunes into the 5 „koshas” (or yogic “layers / bodies”) of the patient, opening blockages on the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. It is a form that allows the therapist to work with beautiful movement, effortlessly and playfully. It facilitates the opening of blocked areas with rhythmic rocking and oscillatory technigues. It helps the release of tension and helps bringing back mobility where it is missing.

ABOUT CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral Therapy is specific, non-invasive touch that supports the body’s innate ability to heal. It is named after the craniosacral system: the bones, tissues and fluids that support the central nervous system. Like other body systems (cardiovascular system, respiratory system etc.) the craniosacral system has a motion all its own: the craniosacral rhythm.
Everything in the body responds to the craniosacral rhythm, so this rhythm can be felt anywhere in the body. The tissues of the craniosacral system are connected to the tissues of the entire body.
Life experiences are processed through the body; when overwhelming, they are held there. Craniosacral Therapy helps the body to release the effects of held life experiences.

“The deeper you can access stillness inside yourself, the deeper you can access the person’s system and recognize the deep intelligence which holds everything together.“
(Franklin Sills)

COURSE PREREQUISITES
Some basic knowledge of Thai Massage or another bodywork is required.
For those having already some experience in this or another kind of bodywork, there will be space to refine techniques individually, sharing experiences and further discussions so we can make our treatments more efficient according to the need of your patients.
A strong emphasis will be given to working with a good posture, in a relaxed manner, with the application of vipassana and metta meditation.
There will be a focus on the quality of touch, as all healing happens as a result of the mental state, mental contents, concentration and emotional state of the giver,
So instead of a course with a fixed curriculum, you should imagine a course where everybody receives material according to their level of practice.
Healthy, local, seasonal and tasty vegetarian food will be served for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

THE PLACE
The venue for our camp is the lovely Kisnyalka farm, with a single main building on spacious hilly land 2km from the nearest village, Nyalka. The farmhouse was built in 1891, and after serving as a dairy during the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, it fell into disuse after the wars. When the wall came down, it was converted to a spiritual community centre, rebuilt brick by brick by its current owner, Tibor. The house offers comfortable accomodation for about 45 people, with separate bathing and toilet areas for ladies and gents. The main attraction of the house is the beautiful circular meditation hall, with its intricate wooden roof structure, which allows meditation and massage practice in bad weather. Around the farmhouse are fields for the owner`s horses, his little sunken earth house, and a garden suitable for camping, yoga and meditation. Looking further, one sees an organic fruit orchard, and hilly landscape dotted with small forests and fields.
How to get there:
The farm is known as „Kisnyalkapuszta major”. Coming from GyÅ‘r or from Veszprém, near Pannonhalma, find the village of Nyalka. From here, Kisnyalka is 2 km away on a dirt road.
If you fly in from abroad. Fly to Budapest and from there take the train to Györ, which takes around 1.5 hours.
By bus:
In GyÅ‘r, get on the bus to Nyalka, which has Tápszentmiklós as its terminus. Once you’ve got off at Nyalka(Posta) busstop, your journey continues on foot to Kisnyalka Major. Take the road to Táp, and after reaching the signpost signalling the end of Nyalka village, continue on the road for another 500m, until you reach a crucifix on a tree. Here, turn right onto the dirt road, and after another 1500 m, you reach Kisnyalka.
By car:
Get to Nyalka village using a map (easiest to access from the direction of GyÅ‘r, Veszprém, Pannonhalma), and continue to Kisnyalka using the above directions.
