17. - 24. JULY 2021

Tenna, Graubünden, Switzerland

Let us finally gather again in circle to do what we love to do: Meditation, Yoga, THAI MASSAGE!

Waking up in silence, spending intimate time with ourselves in the seat, waking up our bodies with mindful yoga practices, nourishing our bodies with delicious healthy food made with love, diving deep into the world of holistic healing touch, breathing fresh mountain air, enjoying walks through the hills, sitting together in circle, sharing, smiling, touching, listening... and closing the days at a campfire under an open vast sky!

This Thai Massage Workshop is open for all!!

Zoltan will share with you beautiful techniques from Thai Massage, inspired by Osteopathy and Craniosacral Therapy and his own vast experience, knowledge and wisdom...
He will adapt the content of the teachings according to the needs of the group and adjust it individually so everybody can benefit no matter which level or the amount of experience in bodywork.

We start the days with chanting, meditation and yoga to prepare our body and mind for the practice of Thai Massage, which will be our main focus throughout the days.
In the evenings there will be time for lecture, meditation, kirtan and more...
Healthy, local, seasonal and tasty vegetarian food will be prepared and served with love for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The house we will be staying at ls located beautifully in the "graubündner" alps. Warm and welcoming!
The fresh air and mountain view will be inviting our minds to rest in our inner calmness and peace so we can access the love in our hearts, which is the source of healing touch....

Thai Massage is an ancient healing art based on the principles of yoga philosophy: the practitioner makes use of the physical body as a tool to access the subtle bodies in order to bring physical, mental and spiritual healing and balance. Blockages can be released and the energy restored to its natural flow with the application of rhythmic pressure on therapeutic points and energy lines, the mindful stretching of muscles and precise joint manipulation. As this massage is working on the different body layers (koshas) the release works on an emotional, energetic and physical level.
Thai Massage could be seen as a moving meditation: When performed with awareness, equanimity and loving kindness, practicing Thai Massage trains the body, the mind and the heart. It becomes a mutual meditation and a powerful energetic exchange with many benefits for both giver and receiver.

It is the integration of osteopathic principles and techniques from Thai Massage: a bridge between East and West. It’s a form of bodywork that combines extraordinary creative and powerful Thai Massage techniques with the precise and gentle touch of osteopathy: - Traditional Thai Massage’s varied and powerful stretches, using long leverage techniques across muscle groups, its acupressure work on energy lines and the creativity of dynamic movements. - Osteopathy’s release of tissue tension and work on restriction of mobility on boney, myofascial, visceral and craniosacral level. Appreciating the interconnectedness of the human being.
"To become an osteopath, is much more than assimilating knowledge or perfecting specific skills. It is a complete development process that allows to become an intuitive, perceptive instrument, able to come in resonance with the patient and everything that lies barried deep within him. It means becoming competent in responding to that individual's deepest needs." (Viola Frymann D.O.)

Integrated CranioSacral Biodynamics is a profound healing process which can influence deeply held patterns of disease - both physical and psychological – which accumulate throughout life as a result of injury or illness and may be subsequently held in the tissues of the body, leading to ill-health and dysfunction. Applying a biodynamic approach has the potential to transform patterns of restriction and resistance at a very fundamental level, thereby stimulating an environment in which health may be restored.

This retreat is totally open to participants of all backgrounds.
If you are new to Thai Massage or bodywork in general, this retreat will give you the basic foundations of Thai Massage - with some additional flavors from the osteopathic and biodynamic traditions.
For those having already some experience in this or any other kind of bodywork, there will be space to refine techniques individually, sharing experiences and further discussions so we can make our treatments more efficient according to the need of your patients.
A strong emphasis will be given to working with good posture, in a relaxed manner, with the application of vipassana and metta meditation.
There will be a focus on the quality of touch, as all healing happens as a result of the mental state, mental contents, concentration and emotional state of the giver,
So instead of a course with a fixed curriculum, you should imagine a course where everybody receives material according to their level of practice.
